Looks like the serial port connection over the network in ESXi requires the enterprise license? I am studying for the CCIE Wireless and I've installed a vWLC. I'm definitely going to need this ESXi host for longer than 60 days. What are people doing? Running for 60 days and then starting from scratch again on the entire host?

May I ask why you need access to Serial over LAN? Can't you just SSH to vWLC after initialization? I assume you know that you can interrupt the VMware console at bootup to get to CLI that way also.
