While I understand   rogue detection from standpoint of the WLC, I'm trying to test the WLC and a AP that I have in Rogue Detection mode to alert me if I have a rogue access point actually connected to my network.

I have a Cisco WLC running 8.2.110 with a AP802AGN-A-K9  in rogue detection mode.  I have configured a Cisco 1242AG in autonomous mode and it is broadcasting on of my SSID's.  I have the rogue AP connected to a trunk port on the 891 that also have the internal AP AP802AGN-A-K9 but I have no indication on the WLC of any rogue being detected on the wire.

Has anyone had any true success in figuring this out and getting it to work?
