Well this is going to be a good news for potential candidate of CCIE RnS v5. Since the exam will be technology driven rather than hardware specific you are going to see more physical and logical topology driven exam rather than the common 4 switches and 6 routers that we are use to.

Where is the good news then? It is with current feature the GNS is going to have.."SWITCHING"! Yes switching functionality will be integrated. What this mean is that you can build any lab of whatever physical and logical topology without limit to switching feature that we are currently facing.

Indeed better days are ahead and nobody who have the desire to get the desire magic number will have excuse of not having enough resources to work with.

Once the first set of software is out I hope to start running through some lab that I will be sharing with us in this forum.

I have started using GNS3 lately and seen it has been working quite well. Sure need a lot of RAM to run smoothly though
