VSG registertion Not-Associated
« on: November 21, 2014, 02:58:56 AM »
Hi,

I am trying to install VSG on PNSC using instruction given on the security section of videos. I have installed Nexus 1000v, VSG and PNSC. All the components are installed properly. Nexus 1000v also shows up as registered in PNSC. However, I can't get VSG to show up as registered in PNSC. It shows up as Not-Associated. I am getting "vnm policy agent installed successfully" when i run sh vnm-pa status command

My N1kv, PNSC and VSG(both data and mgmt) are on one vlan and HA of vsg on seperate vlan since i don't have Layer 3 routable deivce in my lab at the moment. Also I cant change MTU on the upstream physical switch to anything above 1500.

Keeping above limitations in  mind, can anyone tell me any possible cause of my problem or maybe point me in the right direction or indicate any additional steps required. thanks.

N1kv version is 5.2.1
VSG verion: 2.1.2
PNSC version: 3.2.2
