Firepower Multiple Domains - Where do the Sensors reside
« on: March 12, 2017, 05:16:08 AM »
Sorry if this is a silly question, but are quite new to the Firepower solution.

We currently have Firepower 6.1.0.1 installed and configured with a single Domain/Realm. We would like installed other Domains/Realms from some of our other schools.

If we create new multiple Domains/Realms with Firepower and create all the relevant polices, i.e. Intrusion, File, and SSL etc. like the ones in Lab Minutes online video’s –  where to the sensors need to be located, we only have 2.

Thanks, in advance.

Welcome to the forum. The sensor can only be placed in a leaf domain. You can then assign a user at a particular school to that leaf domain so that would be all they have access to. Please check out the video below if not already.
