802.1x client Deployment for Apple laptops
« on: April 18, 2017, 07:24:13 AM »
Hi,

We are planning to deploy ISE for Wired Network and we are successful in deploying for Windows machine(via Computer authentication), however we do have lot  of mac book used by other users and we are planning to deploy for them as well.

I'm trying to find the process for deploying ISE for mac books either via certificate or web authentication or any best practices for deploying ISE for Apple IOS devices.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Thanks
CT

The best way to deal with Mac OSX is to either use some kind of policy server; free or paid, and have it push certificate to computers that it can use to authenticate. A better option is to use MDM as it usually support both OSX and iOS. Cisco Meraki SM is a good option since it integrates with AD and have built-in CA.
