Title: Internet service provider router configuration.
Post by: jpeters092 on February 14, 2014, 08:43:17 PM
Is there a way to configure Cisco or other brand router to do port overloading NAT without blocking any ports for video game players or other customers?
Do you know any good ways to conserve public IP addresses and not block ports for customers? Are there any good alternatives for NAT? Thank you.

This depends on the requirement of that gaming application so we need to understand more how it behaves. Generally if an application does not get along with PAT, you would need to resort to using a static one-to-one NAT or a NAT pool.
